How people describe it
Example excerpts
We had burgers: dry fries, lack of cheese in the burger. For dessert, a white lady: chocolate bordered on whipped cream. Tiny quantity, the name of white lady is undermined :(
Food lacked flavor and was served tepid. An amuse of Jerusalem artichokes tasted like unflavored whipped cream. Cod and chicken dishes were barely heated up, and chocolate Ganesh dessert was boring and something one would get in a cheap bistro. Best dish was the beet entree. Shame on Michelin for recommending!
On several occasions, our reservations were canceled or not honored, which is truly unprofessional. Furthermore, Bistro des Poèmes seemed less tasty and less generous than Bistro des Lettres. The prices aren't always justified: €27 for a fairly ordinary salmon tartare with a small salad, or €8 for a "strawberry cup" made with four strawberries and whipped cream, which seems industrial to us. You can find much better options elsewhere, for less money.
