Example excerpts

Being reserved by nature, I rarely comment on my experiences. I arrived with my beloved wife in my classic car, which I'd left with the valet. I was dressed very smartly in a hoodie over a jacket. We were turned away by the doorman… supposedly because of the dress code… In the end, we went to the very chic rooftop bar at the SO/Paris hotel, which I highly recommend over those Duo Bar regulars.

It’s a tourist trap. Despite the decadent decor, there was no dress code, so people were wearing t-shirts and shorts. There were tour groups dining together, making the entire atmosphere feel a bit like an expensive EPCOT. The service was underwhelming. As soon as the server noticed we didn’t speak French, they literally rolled their eyes (at least we received the stereotypical Parisian reception). The food was fine. Not great. Not bad. Just fine
